Mike Couchie is a North Bay area digital artist. After years of experience in collage, assemblage and installation work, Michael has recently concentrated on digital image manipulation. His colourful gicl?e prints deftly combine a personal iconography, direct scans of natural objects, found photographs and a re-examination of Anishnabe myths and stories. For the Kennedy installation, Michael will construct an interactive video animation and approximately thirty new print works.
