Artist Statement:
Key West's natural beauty, warmth, colour and people, draw me there at least twice a year to paint on the streets, beaches and local houseboats.
It is there, at the end of the world where the sky meets the sea, that I feel at ease. The bicycles, cats, dogs and roosters are a natural part of the landscape.
Everyone is equal, of one human family.
All works are artists' renditions of local shops and homes in Key West.
Caren Gagne is a successful businesswoman who has chosen to live in northeastern Ontario.
