Gordon's sculptures are reflective of his Canadian roots. Sculpture is the result of forming 3-dimensional objects or figures from stone or wood.  It requires the tedious and at times difficult controlled removal of stone or wood. Gordon was mentored by E.B.Cox whose influence is apparent in Gordon's later works. He tends to work mostly with Canadian stones and wood although, he has ventured into pieces using materials from other parts of the world. The viewer is quickly drawn into Gordon's exotic work.

Come to the WKP Kennedy Gallery's Gallery I space to view these beautiful sculptures, displayed alongside works by local painter and friend Ken Stephens.

Opening reception is Saturday, June 28 from 2-4 pm. Artist will be present and will also be performing some of his original folk music!
