This exhibition of photography, painting, video and installation works examines landscape and people. We experience the human and the family in a landscape altered by domestication and industry. There is, in these large-scale digital and photographic works, a return to the wild and an activist aesthetic.

This two-person exhibit of contemporary photography is a central component of Camera Frontera. This biennial photography exhibition and partnership project with the Joan Ferneyhough Gallery, White Water Gallery and the business community of North Bay is a ?regional? version of the extremely popular Contact series of exhibitions in Toronto and environs. To our knowledge this is the ONLY Festival of Contemporary Photography in a regional centre in Canada. Curators for the Festival have chosen ten photographic artists this year for shows all over downtown North Bay. In the Kennedy Gallery we are showing the hybrid painted photographs of Liz Lottand the photo murals and videos of Calgary artist, Diane Colwell.
