All spots filled - Lynn Johnston Workshop: The Art of Character

Students must be 9 years or older (must be able to sit still and pay attention) and is limited to 10 people in the workshop. 

This dynamic 2-hour workshop, provides an introduction to designing characters for comic strips, animation or graphic novels by noted cartoonist Lynn Johnston of “For Better or For Worse” fame.

First come/first reserved basis. Students need to bring the following supplies:

  • White pad of paper 8 1/2 X 11
  • Drawing tools- pencils, as long as they have sharpeners with collecting barrels (so as not to make a mess); a "B" or "2B" lead is best.
  • Fine point Sharpies 

Time: 1:30 p.m.
Location: WKP Kennedy Gallery Art Room in the Basement of Capitol Centre
