ACE Printmaking Workshop
ACE (Arts, Creativity, & Enterprise) is a summertime, youth-initiated program for high school students interested in arts & culture
This workshop is open to all high school students and will cover the following printmaking techniques and concepts:
- Silk screening
- Relief printing
- Monotyping
- General overview of printmaking materials, tools, and terminology
- Printing press use
- Editioning your work
Cost: Free to members of ACE (membership is $50); $15 for non-members
When: July 30 & 31 from 11:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Where: Downstairs artist studio (located downstairs at the back of the Capitol Centre)
Materials:

Please bring about 5 t-shirts (visit second-hand stores to find different styles and colours to be used for silk screening)

An apron or smock

All other materials will be provided, though participants are encouraged to bring any of their own printmaking tools, materials (with the exception of oil-based inks), and papers.
