ACE Printmaking Workshop

ACE (Arts, Creativity, & Enterprise) is a summertime, youth-initiated program for high school students interested in arts & culture

This workshop is open to all high school students and will cover the following printmaking techniques and concepts:

  • Silk screening
  • Relief printing
  • Monotyping
  • General overview of printmaking materials, tools, and terminology
  • Printing press use
  • Editioning your work

Cost: Free to members of ACE (membership is $50); $15 for non-members

When:  July 30 & 31 from 11:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Where: Downstairs artist studio (located downstairs at the back of the Capitol Centre)


  • Please bring about 5 t-shirts (visit second-hand stores to find different styles and colours to be used for silk screening)
  • An apron or smock
  • All other materials will be provided, though participants are encouraged to bring any of their own printmaking tools, materials (with the exception of oil-based inks), and papers.
