ACE Series: Deconstructing Abstract (2 of 2)

Friday, July 18, 10:30am-4:30pm

From an early age I have been driven to create abstract art, and hold dear the playful aspects of this experimental process as well as the discoveries in expression and creativity that stem from these impressive styles.

In this workshop students will learn techniques in abstract and automatic painting. They then will discover how to incorporate realism into the works with digital image transfers of their own choosing.

In the course of selecting imagery, I allow personal interests including the environment, social issues and the people who are part of my life to play a major role in compositions. Students are encouraged to choose their own subject matter and will produce at least two pieces by the end of the workshop.

Fee: $70 / 2 Days (materials included)
